Dr. Christensen, our children and I moved to Lewiston, ID in May 2001 from Fayetteville, North Carolina where Bret was serving in the US Army. We were all so excited to embark on this new adventure and open Bret's orthodontic practice and make it on our own. We experienced great success and growth rapidly which we were very excited and grateful for.

Bret and I have been married since 1989. We have six children, two of whom have passed away, our baby daughter, Jenna, in 1993 and our son, Hunter, who died in a four-wheeler accident in 2012. He was 13 years old. Losing these precious children has been a tremendous heartbreak for us. We do believe that our family is eternal and that we will one day be reunited with them again. We have 3 daughters that are married to wonderful men. Currently, two of our daughters, IlaMarie Palmer and Julianne Hammon are living in Lewiston with their spouses, Chase Palmer and Braeden Hammon. Our other daughter, Andriana McRae and her husband, Alex, are attending BYU-I in Rexburg, ID. Our other son, Trevor keeps us young. He is 13 years old and such a blessing to us! We also have two grandchildren; Ridge who was born to IlaMarie and Chase in 2015 and Everly who was born to Julianne and Braeden in 2016. We are so excited to be grandparents! We feel extremely blessed to have the family that we do and the opportunity to live in this beautiful valley.

Over the years, I have helped the office in numerous ways including cleaning the office, sterilization, office manager and administrative assistant. I enjoyed the great blessing of being home to raise our children and being able to help out when I could. Today, I work from home doing payroll and working in marketing for the practice.

Bret and I have met some wonderful people over the years that have come into our lives as employees, patients and parents.

Today, we have one of the best orthodontic teams that we have ever had. They continue to amaze us with their talent, kindness and work ethic. We can see how much they love what they do.

Even on those hard days, I can see how much my husband loves what he does. Treating patients and seeing the life-changing results that he experiences from his profession is so gratifying. It has been a wonderful blessing to be here in Lewiston and continue to nurture and create relationships every day.
